About TMTO
The Teen Musical Theater of Oregon (TMTO) is the youth theater program of Craterian Performances. TMTO shows are professionally-staged, large-scale and high-energy productions that are fun for the whole family. When you attend a TMTO show, you’ll be giving these talented young people the audience they deserve, and you’ll be getting one of the best entertainment values in Southern Oregon. As a TMTO patron said after a recent show, “The entire production was so professional. We will definitely try to see all of the Teen Musical Theater shows. We will bring some other people along with us, too. It’s something we want to share.” Share the fun and share the excitement: don’t miss the next TMTO show!
Depending on the show and casting requirements, the age range for some TMTO MainStage shows includes children under the age of 12; the age range for most TMTO shows is 12 – 19. TMTO Jr. productions tend to be for Ages 11 through 9th Grade, though the exact age range varies from show to show.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Teen Musical Theater of Oregon is to provide professional training and performance opportunities for cast members, and to produce professional quality, affordable, family-friendly entertainment.
In order to “anchor” the show and to give cast members the opportunity to work with professional/adult actors, TMTO will sometimes use “Guest Stars” in principal roles.
Schedules
The typical TMTO MainStage rehearsal and performance schedule lasts seven or eight weeks. TMTO Jr. production schedules typically last six or seven weeks. In the summer, rehearsal times vary; during the school year, rehearsals are in the evenings on weekdays and during the day on Saturdays. The specific rehearsal calls vary from day to day and week to week, and are announced weekly; the amount of rehearsal time required for each cast member varies significantly based on the size of the part and the overall needs of the production. We produce musicals year-round.
